ABDUL WALI KHAN UNIVERSITY MARDAN

Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan launched the 1st phase of Indigenous on-Campus Training (IOT) under Modern University Governance Program on November 10-14, 2014 in collaboration with Learning & Innovation Division (LID), Higher Education Commission Islamabad.

The Deputy Coordinator of IOT Mr. Shah Hussain Awan welcomed the guests and participants. Addressing the opening ceremony, the Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Jehenzeb Khalil appreciated the HEC training programs for enhancing the professional skills of the administrative staff of the Higher Education Institutions of Pakistan. He thanked the HEC officials for providing a great deal of support and being extremely co-operative. He directed the participants to avail this opportunity and transfer the training contents to their colleagues. Director QEC (Acting) also addressed on the occasion and said that such kind of training helps in the capacity building of the employees. Director Academics (Acting), Mr. Tariq Mehmood and Chief Proctor, Mr. Idrees were also present at the occasion.

The training Coordinator, Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel, briefed the audience regarding the rules and regulations of the training program. He stressed on punctuality and advised the participants to be punctual. He further said that those participants who fall short of attendance will not be awarded certificates rather a strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.
